Kentucky's National Health Center Week 2026: Innovation in Action

Every August, the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) sponsors National Health Center Week (NHCW) to celebrate and increase awareness of America’s 1,512 Community Health Centers (CHCs). NHCW is an opportunity to highlight the commitment and passion of CHC patients, staff, board members, and supporters who make it possible to provide quality, comprehensive healthcare services to 52 million patients across more than 17,000 communities.

Sometimes the best ideas emerge from the toughest challenges. In Kentucky, our health centers continually improve every aspect of healthcare to better serve their communities. At KPCA, we are proud to be partners in our mission to increase Kentucky’s capacity to care.

National Health Center Week is a time to celebrate their efforts and highlight lessons from the field that others can adapt and implement. With practical solutions to complex healthcare challenges, Kentucky’s health centers are showcasing innovation in action.
