We are seeking a Pharmacy Director to lead our pharmacy operations, ensuring that all patients receive the medications they need to live healthier lives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily operations of the pharmacy program by directing , evaluating, and organizing pharmacy workflow while ensuring quality and productivity standards.
- Participate on the senior leadership team to develop and plan business objectives, goals and strategies for HealthFirst Bluegrass.
- Responsible to drive financial performance of the pharmacy by assisting in budget prep and planning, including revenue and cost control strategies.
- Ensure all pharmacy operations are in compliance with HealthFirst policies, procedures, external agency requirements, and all local, state and federal regulations.
- Monitor, mentor and train staff while promoting team building and a positive work environment. Provide day-to-day supervision of pharmacy team.
- Maintain contact with and serve as a liaison with other department heads, medical staff, nursing staff, clinic staff, and Administration to determine needs, resolve problems, improve processes and promote effective drug therapy.
- Serve on the Quality Improvement Committee for Pharmacy services designed to objectively and systematically monitor care and pursue opportunities for improvement to resolve identified problems that may exist.
- Ensure effective inter and intra department communications through regular team meetings and huddles.
- Serve as department pharmacist to cover shifts up to three per days per week and occasional Saturdays.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science and 5 years of ambulatory care pharmacy practice and administration experience (including at least 1-year supervisory experience).
· PharmD, PharmD/MBA, or Pharm/MPI with 2 years of practice experience (including at least 1-year supervisory experience).
· Must be licensed to practice Pharmacy or eligible for licensure in the state of Kentucky.·
License/Certification:
- Must be licensed to practice Pharmacy or eligible for licensure in the state of Kentucky. Current CPR is required and must be maintained throughout the duration of this position.
