School Based Clinics Program Manager - RN

We are seeking a SBC Program Manager - RN to lead and coordinate operations across our School Based Clinics. The SBC Nurse Program Manager is responsible for providing leadership in planning, guiding, and coordinating practice operations for the SBC program with an integrated care model with a focus on service and operational excellence. This leader seeks to identify and implement new and emerging strategies to increase efficiency, improve processes, and enhance the patient experience.
As part of achieving these goals, this position identifies opportunities to work with leaders in other areas-including clinical services, case management, financial, information technology, operations and community partners to ensure regulatory compliance, increase care coordination and improve process efficiency between departments and entities. This position ensures the timeliness, quality, and integrity of systems and patient access processes in a manner that is both patient-centered and respectful of all customers and stakeholders. · Provide leadership and supervision for SBC staff, including but not limited to, clerical staff(indirectly), medical assistants, RN Coordinators, and SBC Leads.
o Assures employee evaluations are completed in a timely manner and appropriate goals are set for all staff supervised.
o Identifies areas of concern for teams and brings forward recommendations for resolution and feedback/follow-up
o Works with the appropriate staff in the office, assures provider schedules are at a level to achieve patient access goals set by organization
o Assist with supervision of BH Therapists and providers if requested.
o Makes recommendations for staffing levels for department and organization based on site productivity and patient need
o Participating in onboarding and on-going training programs
· Assists with the oversite of the patient registration process with Patient Access Manager
· Assists the SBC Director with financial health of department
o Reviewing financial statements, budgets, and staffing.
o Ensuring set targets for schedules and budget are being met and/or identifying barriers to meeting goals working with COO, CDO, clinical directors and practice managers.
· Identifies improvement activities and works directly with SBC Director, Director of Operations & Quality Director to ensure department is meeting all identified goals for the strategic plan and Key Performance Indicators for the department.
- Builds a strong network and relationships with internal customers and key stakeholders to gain buy-in for HealthFirst’s Management System and Tools and projects.
· Works with SBC Director & Quality to assess improvements made in systems or processes, system efficiency, innovation, and creativity as well as commitment to generating new solutions and ideas following HealthFirst’s Management Approach and Tools.
· Monitors department to assure compliance with department policies & procedures and all other regulatory requirements.
· Leads and/or serves on a variety of appropriate internal and external committees to represent the SBC department.
· Encourage overall staff engagement. Foster a positive culture that is outcome-oriented, encourages participative problem solving, moves staff to action, and instills a desire to excel.
- Ensure optimal recruitment, selection, engagement, development and retention of staff members committed to achieving patient excellence at every interaction.
Education and Experience:
· Current active Registered Nurse license from the Kentucky Board of Nursing required: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Three to five years’ experience in clinic (School Health-related experience preferred.)
· One year of direct supervisory experience.
· Proven success implementing continuous improvement principles and methodology to achieve measurable quality improvement results preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Nurse must possess a current Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN) Registered Nurse license. Current CPR certification is required and must be maintained throughout the duration of this position. Requires current and valid driver’s license and use of personal transportation to and from job assignments on a daily basis.
